Jacquard looms were the digital printers of their day when they were first used in 1804 – even though the Jacquard process is not really printing and it’s not quite digital. Nevertheless, the punch cards that give instructions to Jacquard looms inspired the punch cards used in early computing.
These specialized looms produce complex textures and visual patterns for materials with multiple aesthetic and tactile dimensions. Jacquard designs are often complex and hard to describe in a few words. However, as with our other products, we offer them in multiple solid colors and designs.
